About the electromagnetic spectrum
The electromagnetic (EM) spectrum is the range of each type of EM radiation. The energy that travels and carries out as it goes is radiation. There are many different types of EM radiation such as the radio waves coming from a radio station and the light that comes from a lamp, or visible light, are two examples of the electromagnetic radiation. Microwaves, infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, X-rays and gamma-rays all are other types of EM radiation which make up the electromagnetic spectrum.
